Why is Pembrokeshire Laser Combat good for team building? Well…

•   Psychological studies show that when people get excited together they tend to bond. Pembrokeshire Laser Combat provides the excitement; you provide the people. No other workshop can do that!

•  We give you a chance to immediately apply the concept presented by playing a game with rules that reinforce this concept. This gives your team a higher retention rate and an improved ability to apply the idea once you leave.

•  We provide a positive, memorable experience. Your  team members will want to play again and again and each time they do they’ll reinforce the lessons that they learned before.

Testimonial from Goodwick Youth Club

Testimonial from Ysgol Pen-y-Bryn, Swansea – 2015

Ysgol Pen-y-Bryn is a special needs school based in Swansea for pupils aged 3-19 years old with a wide range of special needs. We have been fortunate enough to visit Battlefield Live Pembrokeshire on a number of occasions with different groups over the past couple of years.

The pupils have always enjoyed their day and have had the experience tailored to the needs and abilities of our different groups. Most recently we brought a group that were creating a James Bond themed magazine. The experience of the day was one of the articles that appeared in last years magazine, and gave the group a very special day to remember.

The staff at Battlefield Live Pembrokeshire are excellent and work really well with the pupils. The best thing for us is they work with the staff to ensure a safe and memorable experience for all taking part. We are very grateful for all the help and support that Toria and the team have given us with our various visits and projects.

Schools and Colleges include Pembrokeshire Laser Combat as part of their sports and social curriculum because we inspire and energise young people towards achieving realistic goals – and it’s so much fun!

2012  A warm welcome to St Joseph’s School, St Francis’ School, St Oswald’s School, Stackpole School and Queen Elizabeth High School who all came to us for their end of term outing this year. The pupils participated in bushcraft as well as laser combat games in our woods.

Pembrokeshire Laser Combat welcomes  5×60 players

Barry John 5×60 Officer Milford Haven School said –

During the School Summer Holiday as part of Milford Haven, Tasker Milward and Sir Thomas Picton Schools 5×60 programmes, 20 children aged between 11 and 14, were taken to Battlefield live as part of an activities week.

We took the children there in the hope it would be fun, it would provide a good level of exercise and it would help the children with their communication, leadership and teamwork skills. The session provided all this while also teaching them about discipline and promoting good behaviour.

The 2 hour session was action packed, with the staff constantly adapting the game to keep the pupils engaged.  All the Staff were extremely helpful and went out of their way to make sure all the children understood what they needed to do and had a fantastic time.

At the end of the session we had excellent feedback from all of the children, who all enjoyed the session and wanted to return again.

Daniel Field (School Sport Co-ordinator for PCC) said:-

During the first week of the Easter holidays, a number of pupils from Tasker Milward and Sir Thomas Picton Schools , in Haverfordwest, participated in 5×60 clubs run by Pembrokeshire Sport Development. On the Thursday, 12 Year 10 boys from Tasker Milward School and 14 Year 10 Boys from Sir Thomas Picton School participated in the first ever 5×60 Battlefield Live infra-red combat games.  As local rivals it was destined to be a thrilling day!  The boys had a great time playing out a number of different scenarios based around combat, stealth and evasion.  All in all, each pupil had an enjoyable and memorable experience and it is hoped that they will attend similar 5×60 clubs run during future holidays.
