Great attractions in Pembrokeshire if you’ve got teenagers!
We all know (and I speak from experience) that getting more than a one word answer from your teenager these days can be like pulling teeth. And mention holidaying where Wi-Fi might not be as accessible as normal might just be like the world is ending. But don’t panic too much, there is light at the end of the tunnel.
There are many attractions throughout Pembrokeshire to suit all tastes. So whether your teenager likes roller coaster rides, horse riding or enjoys the sea, here’s a few suggestions of things to do and places to visit.
Oakwood Theme Park, near Narberth is an action packed day out, with thrilling rides to rival those of other more well known Theme Parks. Battlefield Live Laser Combat gets you down with the gaming warfare, run amongst the woods in combat gear, ideal if there’s a few of you. Manor House Wildlife Park has something for everyone especially those who enjoy wildlife in their natural habitat. For the historians amongst you, Pembroke Castle will have you jousting in the medieval times or taking part in falconry displays. For those water loving teenagers, why not try something new like paddle boarding, kayaking or throwing yourself off cliffs, known as Coasteering, which originates from Pembrokeshire, is great fun but please do go with qualified coasteering providers.
For those who like more chilled activities, horse riding in the Pembrokeshire Countryside or simply walking some of the 186 miles of the stunning coastal path Pembrokeshire has to offer will create memories that will last a lifetime. And if they aren’t energetic teenagers then our golden sandy beaches are perfect for just lazing about on all day. Give them a towel and some food and you probably won’t hear a word out of them all day.
